Beautiful Sony EV-S9000E Pal Hi8 Player/Recorder. I have tested recording and playback, the quality of picture and sound is impressive. The sliding editing tray needs a gentle push to open and close after having pressed the open/close button. The LCD of the Tray display has stopped working, however all buttons and controls of the tray are working.

Smooth controls, Play Rewind Fast Forward working very well, however the Rewind is louder and a bit "rattlier". Than the fast forward which is very smooth.

Minor scratches on top, some very small black discoloration on the sides, see pics. I dont have the remote, It should work with a oneforall or logitech harmony remote.
