The battery terminals had some residual battery acid and although I removed it , the remote would still not function. When playing a VHS , the image does have intermittent diagonal lines. Im not sure if this was standard with this particular make and model. Ive also included AV cables, original manual, and 3 new , blank 8 hr Sony VHS Tapes.
